The Fresno fair opens for its 130th year on Wednesday and will offer an enormous amount of food, rides, attractions and entertainment during its 12-day run, which ends Oct. 14 and Miracle Skate will be there too.

Miracle Skate at Fresno FairgroundsWith the Fresno fairgrounds being the location of the Miracle Skate there is no way we could miss an event this large.  We reopen at our Fresno location on November 15th and if you come and see us at the fair you can get a free admission coupon for when we reopen next month.

There is a lot to look forward to this year at the Big Fresno Fair –

Three new rides make their debut this year. The Ex-Scream Machine Coaster, “Vertigo” — which swings riders centrifugally 100 feet over the midway and the Big Top, and a circus-themed fun house with a changing LED light show and spinning steps leading to its second floor.

New attractions will include the new Discover the Dinosaurs exhibit. The interactive exhibit, created through a partnership with Brad’s World Reptiles, features a dinosaur dig, plus life-size replicas of tyrannosaurus rex, triceratops and stegosaurus, along with some real-life reptiles as well.

The Sea Lion Splash, a 30-minute show where sea lions balance balls, shoot hoops, dance and perform handstands.
